There was something about life in Reinhard Village that you just can’t explain unless you were there. The parties that spilled into the courtyard, music floating through paper-thin walls like a shared soundtrack to our college years. Strangers became roommates, and roommates became family—bonded not just by classes and deadlines, but by burnt popcorn alarms, midnight driveway conversations, and the collective hope that maybe the pool would open this semester (it never did).
It was an exercise in communal living—learning to sleep through someone else’s playlist, navigating awkward bathroom encounters, and knowing that at any given time, someone, somewhere, was cooking questionable eggs at 2 AM. It wasn’t glamorous, but it was ours.
